Global Outreach has opportunities for training programs in business. We are currently taking applications for the hospitality and resort industry for 2009! Other opportunities include: · Business Administration and Management To see a full listing of placement categories click here Trainee” positions must involve a training plan which shows a progression of responsibility in the organization (or at minimum, a lateral movement to allow for the trainee to experience different aspects of the organization). For example, as a hospitality trainee, you could start in a hotel as a housekeeper, move to front desk attendant, then to bookkeeping, etc. Another position could be starting in a winery tasting room, working in the cellar during crush and then assisting with marketing the wine later. A third possibility could be working at an implement dealership as a custodian, move up to parts, then to sales. Trainees can be placed for up to 18 months. “Interns” must be placed in a position which corresponds with their educational plans and academic field. They do not need to be placed in a “progressive” position. For example, a marketing student could be placed in a sales representative position. A finance student could be placed as a bank teller. Interns have a maximum stay of 12 months.
